Activity Fee - 2009 The Mora School board has directed the
implementation of a participation fee of $30.00 per activity effective for the 2009-2010
school year for students in grades 9-12 who plan to participate in athletics or
the Fall Production, Spring Production, One Act Play, Knowledge Bowl or Math
League. Again, this activity fee is only for students in
grades 9 - 12. There is no family
or individual cap or reduction if you are on free/reduced lunch. Fees must be paid before the student
can participate in matches, games, etc.
Each coach/advisor will have information dealing with their particular
activity available at their pre-season parent meeting. Fees are being assessed to help in covering the cost
of the programs, equipment, travel, etc.
They are NOT a guarantee of playing time in any contest. Playing time is and has been a coach's
decision based on many other factors and paying a fee will not change that
practice. Also, Students who do
not complete the season for whatever reason will not receive a refund. Fees can be paid at pre-season meetings held by the
coach or in the district office during normal working hours, which are Monday
through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
